CFEO Agreement - Members from the Caldwell Foundation for Educational Opportunity discussed how the Foundation will use the $200,000 of FCC monies. Trustees voted to approve the CFEO Agreement. 

Play2Learn - Kari Palmer, Early Learning Project Coordinator, presented Trustees with information about the District's new Play2Learn Program. The program allows parents to become their child’s first teacher. The program is held every Wednesday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Lincoln Elementary School.

Ukeru Safety Training - Trustees heard from Julie Mead, Chief Officer of Student Services, about Ukeru Safety Training, which helps advocate for the elimination of restraint and seclusion. The training will be offered to staff in October.

Continuous Improvement Plan - Board Members voted to approve the Continuous Improvement Plan.

School Safety and Security - Eric Phillips, Director of Student Safety and Emergency Operations, provided Trustees with information regarding the recent social media threats. The District was recently awarded a grant by the Idaho State Department of Education to fund one School Resource Officer for the next three years.

Impacted Attendance Request - Board Members voted to approve the impacted attendance request for Friday, September 20, 2024.

Adjournment - Approve adjournment, to meet again, unless otherwise announced, on Monday, October 14, 2024.
