SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT

Dr. French provided Trustees with information on Caldwell and Canyon Springs High School Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways. Both schools have added new pathway courses for the upcoming school year including Ag Leadership, Medical Assisting, and Early Childhood. Dr. French also shared the District's ambitious goals for the 2024-2025 school year. The District will measure and track the data quarterly.

REGULAR AGENDA

• DMTI Math Adoption - Dr. Brendefur, Representative from DMTI, provided Trustees with information on the DMTI Math Curriculum and what it would look like from a teacher and student perspective. Trustees voted to approve the DMTI Math Curriculum Adoption.
• Eagle Eye Security Contract - Dr. French discussed the Eagle Eye Security Contract with Trustees and how a private security company would operate in the Caldwell School District. Board Members voted to approve the Eagle Eye Security Contract for three officers instead of four for the 2024-2025 school year. 
• Easement with the City of Caldwell - Trustees voted to rescind the Easement with the City of Caldwell.
• Supplemental Levy Update - Dr. French provided Trustees with information on what the updated proposed ballot language would be for the November election.
• Master Agreement 2024-2025 - Trustees voted to approve the 2024-2025 Master Agreement.
