Caldwell School District
The Caldwell School District offers excellent school choices for families living both inside and outside of district boundaries. We are committed to providing high-quality educational opportunities for all students while fostering strong partnerships between parents and teachers.

New to Caldwell School District?
If your student has never attended a school in the Caldwell School District, you will need to create a Parent Portal account and complete the online registration process.
Steps to Register:

Complete the online enrollment form found by clicking here.

Upload digital copies of the required documents listed below.
Required Documents:

Student’s birth certificate or other government-issued document showing the student’s identity and birth date

Student’s immunization records
-
Proof of address (rental agreement, utility bill, etc.)

Parent/Guardian photo ID (driver’s license or other government-issued ID)
-
Court documents, if applicable (custody paperwork, name change documents, etc.)
Previously Enrolled in the Caldwell School District?
If your student has attended a Caldwell School District school in the past and is returning for the 2024-2025 school year, please contact your student’s school directly.
School staff will help you reactivate your existing Parent Portal account. Once your account has been reactivated, you will need to complete the online registration and upload the required documents listed above to finalize enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year.
RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION: 2025-2026
Families of students who live in the Caldwell School District and attend a Caldwell school can complete next year's returning student registration before the end of the school year. Returning student registration will begin the week after Spring Break. Please check your email for more information from your child's school.
OPEN ENROLLMENT
The Caldwell School District offers great school choices for families living inside or outside our district boundaries. We are currently open enrolling students for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. Open enrollment applications for the 2025-2026 school year are due by February 1st, 2025.
We offer open enrollment for families:
- who live within the Caldwell School District boundaries and want their child(ren) to attend a school other than the one assigned to their residential address
- who live outside of the Caldwell School District boundaries and want their child(ren) to attend one of our schools.
Idaho law (33-1402) allows the District to offer an opportunity to apply for a change of school through open enrollment.

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION: 2025-2026
If you have a new student who will NOT be attending a Caldwell school this school year and has never attended the Caldwell School District before, please contact the District Office for assistance. You can reach us at 208-455-3300, ext. 2260 or 2288.
