Empowering Parents

Idaho's Empowering Parents program provides grant funds for use towards eligible education services and devices to help students recover from learning loss.  Idaho students ages 5-18 are eligible regardless of school type attended: Public, Charter, Private, or Homeschool.

Apply now! The 2024-2025 school year application opens on October 21, 2024, and closes on April 7, 2025, or when program funds are exhausted.
The Caldwell School District will accept Empowering Parents funds as per Idaho Code 33-1030. This list includes, but is not limited to the following items: Athletic fees for school, school-affiliated club, or summer teams; Driver's Education Fees; Fees related to specific curriculum including art or CTE, Tools for CTE coursework; Graduation fees; Musical instrument rental; Fees for physical educational equipment, gear, uniforms, or pay-to-play fees required for participating in organized physical education activities; and Other State approved expenses. Your email should include the Parent's name listed in ClassWallet and the student's name who attends Caldwell School District. Please include the education programs that you wish to pay for using grant funds.
