When is the first day of school for students for the 2023-24 school year?

 

Wednesday, August 16, 2023

*The first day will be an early release day.

  • Elementary: 8:55 am - 2:00 pm
  • Secondary: 7:50 am - 1:15 pm

 

When is in-person registration?

Every school will be holding in-person registration on Monday, August 7, 2023. 

  • 7 am - 6 pm | Lewis & Clark, Lincoln, Sacajawea, Washington, Wilson, and Van Buren Elementary
  • 9 am - 7 pm | Caldwell High, Canyon Springs, Jefferson Middle, and Syringa Middle School

What immunizations/vaccinations are required for school?

Here is a link to the requirements for 2023-24. Idaho law also allows for some exemptions to the required immunizations. 

COVID-19 vaccinations for children age 12 and older are recommended but not required.

 
City of Caldwell Construction Projects
Several construction projects are underway in the City of Caldwell. Work is occurring at Middleton Road, Cleveland Boulevard, Florida Avenue and Indiana Avenue intersections.
Traffic impacts will occur during the 2023-2024 school year. The city appreciates the community’s
patience as improvements are made to these intersections.

¿Qué inmunizaciones/vacunas se requieren para la escuela?
