Schools are the heart of any community. The Caldwell School District has been the heart of the Caldwell community since 1893.

Caldwell School District is proud to serve the children of Caldwell. As a District our mission is nurturing growth, eliminating obstacles, strengthening community.

We are grateful for our community partnerships as we expand programs such as Community Schools, 21st Century After School Learning Center, Everyday Leadership, Boys and Girls Club, Caldwell Preschool Collaborative, and STEM Learning for our elementary students.

At the secondary level, Caldwell School District continues to expand academic opportunities for students through Advanced Placement (AP) courses in science, English, math, social studies, and the fine arts. In addition, we have strong Career Technical Education (CTE) programs offering a wide variety of career technical pathways such as welding, auto, engineering, agriculture, natural resources, business, marketing, technology, family consumer science, and health occupations which includes CNA, rehabilitative sports medicine, clinical medical assistant, and pharmacy tech. And, our fine arts program is the gem of the Treasure Valley.

Our District enjoys partnerships with The College of Idaho, Treasure Valley Community College, College of Western Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University, and Boise State University.

We are fortunate to be a part of a community that values our youth, their education, and believes in preserving traditions that create cherished memories of friendships and learning.

Values

  • Making student centered decisions. We ensure students are at the center of every decision we make as evidenced by allowing students to share in decisions, believing in their capacity to lead, and remembering how it feels to learn.
  • Acting with Integrity. We model transparency and honesty to build trust, relationships, and community.
  • Valuing the diversity within our district. We build upon the strength of our diversity and individuality by creating inclusive and supportive learning environments where students will feel cared for, safe, valued, embraced, and accepted.
  • Building family and community partnerships. We work in partnership with children, families, and our community to support the whole child.
  • Inspiring and preparing scholars to achieve their post-secondary goals. We prepare our scholars to make choices for their future through a shared commitment to high levels of learning. We recognize that literacy is foundational.
  • Creating a caring, supportive learning environment where all students can grow academically, emotionally, and socially. We strive to meet the individual needs of every student and provide a positive learning environment which nurtures each student's desire to be successful physically, intellectually, and socially.
