September 22, 2025 Special Board Meeting

Wilson Elementary Update - Trustees heard from Tabby Bruegeman, Principal of Wilson Elementary, on Wednesday Skills Groups, which the school has been doing for the past four years. 

National School Lunch Week - Board Members voted to approve the display of flags from around the world for National School Lunch (October 13-17, 2025). The theme is “Taste the World/Around the World.”

Superintendent Search - Katie Russell, ISBA Representative, provided Trustees with information on the Idaho School Boards Association's Superintendent Search Services. Dr. French will be retiring at the end of the 2025-2026 school year. Trustees voted to table the ISBA Superintendent Search Fees until the October 13, 2025, Regular Board Meeting, pending the presence of all Trustees.

Continuous Improvement Plan - Trustees voted to approve the Continuous Improvement Plan. This plan must be approved and submitted to the state by October 1 each year.

In God We Trust Sign - The District recently received a donation from Jo Dee Arnold of In God We Trust Signs for each school to display. Trustees voted to table accepting the In God We Trust Signs until the October 13, 2025, Regular Board Meeting, to allow for further discussion. 

Proposed Job Descriptions - Dr. French provided the Trustees with information on the District's updated principal, assistant principal, and dean of students' job descriptions. Board Members voted to approve and accept the updated job descriptions. 

Adjournment - Approve adjournment, to meet again, unless otherwise announced, on Monday, October 13, 2025.
