Adding Yourself as a Tile in Google Meet

Many of you will be heading into Google Meets tomorrow for Parent-Teacher-Conferences and you may be wondering how to make sure that you can see your own "Tile" with your own face at the same time as the "Tile" of the parents and students that you are meeting with... no one likes to find out later that their hair was poking up or that they had spinach in their teeth during PTC!  Unfortunately, the default view in Google Meet is that you are NOT a tile in your own Meet. Google just added an update to Meet last week to help with this.

Hover over your tile in the upper right corner of the Meet and find the grid view icon.  If you click on it, a slash will appear across the icon and your "Tile" will be moved into the main grid of tiles.  If you hover over it again, either in the upper right corner OR the larger tile in the grid, you will be able to click and remove the slash and your tile will be pulled out of the main view!
