ABOUT THE PROPOSED SUPPLEMENTAL LEVY

The proposed Supplemental Levy is a funding measure that will appear on the November 3, 2026, ballot for Caldwell School District voters.

The proposal would authorize $5.8 million per year for two years, beginning July 1, 2027, and ending June 30, 2029.

The Supplemental Levy will be used to preserve the high-quality educational programs that make our schools a great choice for students in Caldwell.

Certified and Classified Staff $3,500,000

Activities and Athletics $550,000

School Safety and Security $475,000

Behavioral and Mental Health Support $475,000

Student Transportation $400,000

Grounds Upkeep and Maintenance $225,000

Accelerated Learning Programs $175,000

TOTAL PROPOSED ANNUAL LEVY AMOUNT: $5,800,000

ESTIMATED ANNUAL COST TO TAXPAYERS

The estimated average annual cost to the taxpayer on the proposed levy is a tax of $99.70 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions.
