Use this section only if your student is enrolling in the Caldwell School District for the first time during this school year.
Please do not use this link for NEXT year.
The enrollment portal for the 2026–2027 school year will open on April 15, 2026.
If your student has never attended a Caldwell School District school, you will need to create a Parent Portal account and complete the online registration form.

Student’s birth certificate or other government-issued document showing the student’s identity and birth date

Student’s immunization records

Proof of address (rental agreement, utility bill, etc.)

Court documents, if applicable (custody paperwork, name change documents, etc.)
Caldwell School District offers school choice for families living both inside and outside district boundaries.
You may apply for open enrollment if:
- You live within Caldwell School District boundaries, but want your child to attend a different Caldwell school than the one assigned to your home address
- You live outside Caldwell School District boundaries and want your child to attend a Caldwell school
Idaho law (33-1402) allows the District to offer an opportunity to apply for a change of school through open enrollment.
- Applications for the 2025–2026 school year were due on February 1, 2025. You may still apply for the current school year if space is available at the requested school and grade level.
- Applications for the 2026–2027 school year were due on February 1, 2026. You may still apply for next school year if space is available at the requested school and grade level.
