Daniel Torres won the Lion's Club Peace poster contest this year from our school. This is our 29th year participating in this event. The theme was "A Celebration of Peace". Daniel was honored at the monthly Lion's Club luncheon and was awarded fifty dollars along with a certificate.
Callie Mae White submitted artwork that was selected to be published in the annual Idaho School Boards Association calendar art contest. The theme this year was "What We Love About Our Schools". Callie Mae is a member and president of NJHS and is in the Syringa Middle School Art Club.
