Students From Owyhee High School Visit Washington Elementary

Students at Washington Elementary were treated to traditional Native American dancing as well as a lesson in the language of the Shoshone Tribe.  High school students from Owyhee High School located on the Duck Valley Indian Reservation arrived at Washington in time to have lunch with students before their performance.  In addition to watching the dancers perform, Washington students were also able to participate in a "Round Dance" with the performers which is a traditional dance performed mostly during a pow wow.
