Below is a summary of the Caldwell School District Board of Trustees' September 28, 2026, Special Board Meeting, intended to provide information about board decisions in a timely manner. It is not the official record. The recorded live stream of the meeting is available here.  

• Financial Audit -  Zach Wagoner, Chief Financial Officer, and Kurt Fulke of Quest CPAs PLLC, presented the District’s annual financial audit to Trustees for review. Trustees voted to accept and approve the District's Financial Audit as presented. 

• School Safety & Security - Superintendent Montoya introduced Geoff Stands, who presented information to the Trustees on school safety and security. Mr. Stands, who has an extensive background in education and school safety, shared recommendations and ideas for enhancing the District’s school safety and security measures. Trustees voted to agree to a retainer for a professional services contract for the school safety and security services agreement.
