Masks had been required for all students and staff since September 1, 2021. After reviewing and discussing recent COVID-19 data and information, Trustees voted to recommend masks during their board meeting on Monday, November 8, 2021.
The recommendation took effect on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. The Board will continue to review COVID-19 data and absentee reports for both students and staff and revisit the mask expectation if necessary.
As a reminder, during regular school hours, all visitors to our schools or district facilities are still required to wear masks. In addition, a student or staff member may be required to wear a mask as part of COVID exposure protocols established by the Centers for Disease Control.
