Caldwell Fine Arts - Alison Moulton, Executive Director, showed a video to Trustees to demonstrate how students in the Caldwell School District are participating in Caldwell Fine Arts. Moulton also shared a list of goals Caldwell Fine Arts plans to do for the upcoming school year. 

Draft Budget Proposal - April Burton, Chief Financial Officer, shared a draft budget proposal with Members of the Board. The District is currently in negotiations for the budget for the upcoming 2022 - 2023 school year. The budget is focused on the District's mission and vision statement to recruit and retain staff members. The budget hearing is scheduled to be on the agenda at the next Regular Board Meeting on Monday, June 13, 2022.

Transportation Contract - April Burton, Chief Financial Officer, shared with Trustees that the District’s transportation contract went out for bid. The district has a long standing relationship with Caldwell Transportation Company and they have proved to be very reliable. Members of the Board approved the bid for the Caldwell Transportation Company’s contract. This will allow the District to continue to negotiate the details of the contract and seek approval from the Idaho State Department of Education Transportation Department. 

Maintenance Analysis/Facility Needs - Trustees heard from Bernie Carreira, Director of Maintenance and Operations, about the District’s maintenance analysis and facility needs. Board Members reviewed and discussed the analysis. 

COVID-19 School Operation Plan for 2021-2022 - Trustees review recent COVID-19 data and information. 

Future Agenda Items - Trustees did not discuss any future agenda items.
